The corona virus pandemic certainly curtailed many of our plans however it also led to some very positive encounters (not of the viral kind). The restrictions on movement meant that a return to Homelands had to be measured, cautious and well planned in relation to being Covid 19 safe. We implemented the LoC Big Days Out (a bit cheeky to pinch the name), individual day trips to communities with Rangers and Cultural Advisors to get the kids out on Country and celebrate with wonderful stories, knowledge transfer and a sausage sizzle.
