As the RAES provider for our region, Laynha is committed to supporting community members to access safe, meaningful and sustainable employment. Through personalised support, training and community led initiatives, we help people build skills, overcome barriers and connect with local employment opportunities.

Support for Employers
We work closely with employers to connect local job seekers with available positions and provide the support needed for successful employment outcomes.
Employer support includes:
- Candidate matching and recruitment assistance
- Access to training, licences and PPE
- Support for both employers and employees throughout placement
- Assistance with workforce development needs
- Employer incentives of up to $8,400 (eligibility criteria apply)

The Remote Jobs and Economic Development (RJED) program focuses on creating sustainable employment opportunities in remote communities by supporting jobs that meet local needs and priorities.
RJED supports:

- Long-term participation in meaningful employment
- Skills development and workforce growth across remote communities
Working alongside RAES, RJED helps ensure there are genuine employment opportunities available throughout the Gove Peninsula and Laynhapuy Homelands, creating pathways for Yolŋu people to gain skills, secure jobs and contribute to the economic development of their communities.
